Profile Scheduler¶
The Profile Scheduler lets you set up automatic schedules so your Glance switches between profiles at specific times of day and on specific days of the week. This way, you don’t need to manually change profiles — Glance will do it for you.
What is a profile?¶
Profiles are different “views” you can set up on your Glance:
- Profile 1 – For example, stocks and finance
- Profile 2 – For example, sports updates
- Profile 3 – For example, weather and fun apps
With Profile Scheduler, you can pick when each of these profiles should turn on automatically.
How to use Profile Scheduler in the mobile app¶
-
Open the My Devices menu
From the home page of the Glance app, tap the hamburger menu (☰) in the top left, or swipe left. This will open your My Devices list. -
Edit your device
Find your Glance in the list and tap the pencil icon next to its name or MAC address. -
Turn on Profile Scheduler
In the device settings page, toggle Profile Scheduler to ON. Three boxes will appear — one for each profile (1, 2, and 3). -
Set times and days
For each profile, choose the time of day and the days of the week it should start.
Example:
• Profile 1 → Weekdays at 9:00 AM
• Profile 2 → Saturdays at 7:10 AM
• Profile 3 → Sundays at 8:05 AM -
Save your changes
Tap Update at the bottom of the screen. Your changes will be saved. It may take a few minutes before your Glance updates to the new schedule.
In this example, Profile 1 is set to Monday–Friday at 9:00 AM, Profile 2 is set to Saturday at 10:00 PM, and Profile 3 is set to Sunday at 1:00 PM.
Notes¶
- One time per profile: Each profile can have one start time.
- Takes a few minutes: After pressing Update, allow a few minutes for your Glance to reflect the change.
- Manual override: You can still switch profiles manually in the app at any time — the schedule just helps automate it.
Bottom line¶
Profile Scheduler makes your Glance easier to use by automatically switching between your setups (stocks, sports, weather, etc.) at the times and days you choose. Just set it once and let Glance handle the rest.
